Cal AI App Fees & Pricing

I had a few times where the streak reset itself when consistency tracking my meals. There were also many instances where the app was not calculating the calories left properly. Reached out to tech support and they responded once or twice with no resolution. Canceled my subscription and Google denied a refund after only using the app for about a month. Asked the Dev for a refund and was also denied. I would not recommend this app based on the experience and help from the company alone.

Trying to gain weight, I've found it much easier to consistently hit my target calories and track my progress. Estimates are accurate, price point is reasonable for the full year and it's extremely user friendly. One bug I've noticed is sometimes when scanning food it won't register, then when you take another photo the previous one did go through and the new photo stalls at 50% until I close and open the app, to which only the first photo is there and accounted for. Edit: & Streak loss issue

After weeks of use, this app has become buggy and slow to load. Despite religiously entering my meals every day, I also kept losing my streak. I tried raising my concern through the support email feature, but I never received a response. Definitely a disappointing experience and a waste of subscription.

I thought I had a trial period. I was charged $27 for a full year. This app isn't worth $5. The AI search is often wrong & hangs. Eating home made recipes you add each ingredient one by one. If you use ground turkey you have to edit every meal and then the calorie, fat and protein count isn't correct. Actually almost everything is incorrect. Even the canned and boxed food counts were wrong. This only gives approximate numbers. It's too much work for special diets. Restaurant meals may be okay.

This app constantly bugs out and drops my streak even though I logged meals and exercise every day. when I Uninstalled and reinstalled to try and fix this, the app deleted all my progress even though I signed in with the same account. for an app I paid a yearly subscription for I expected better.
