What reviewers say about fees
is app seem like it's a cool app but it's very predatory also they will steal your money because they will use different routing numbers I've already called them out on it and I have to wait till the 14th for my bank statement to come in that way we can prove that they actually charged me twice for $356 so I'm not paying them back nothing I suggest others not to try this out
too many fees for instacash and other services
I'm back 4 years after I first used the Instant Cash. They have me $25 this time. $61 in 2022. I'm only using ML for the Instacash. The UI is more clutter now. Too many side hustles and gimmicks. I was clicking all over the place to find where I could pay back the $25+fees early.
Terrible! I would not recommend at all! I got a cash advance. Then did not (because they did not disclose) that they locked me into a membership payment! I thought this was a one time fee, and I could cancel at anytime like other apps. Nope your locked in for at least two months! Tell me how that helps people who are struggling by taking out automatic extra fees out of their banking account. Never again! Then call their AI customer service line that keeps repeating itself no customer servi
ripoff you will always owe them no matter what. Fees are out of this world. I made a big mistake.
I repaid the instacash on the due date & the money was taken from my account, the app never updated showing it's been paid. Then they have tried to charge my account multiple times & After speaking to customer service & providing proof of payment they continue to try to charge me again & have been zero help! I've been told a supervisor would contact me but of course they haven't & they still keep trying to take money that's already been paid and have been provided proof of payment. BEWARE!!!
customer support out of the blue blocked my access to my account - claiming they closed it - which I did not want. (and still to this day try to charge my bank a monthly subscription). This alhappened ecause I switched to a new phone and their app blocked my log in attempts.I emailed/called 20+ times over a couple months trying to regain access to my account and the only solution they could come up with was blocking my account then refusing to respond to further customer service emails afterward
Caused my email to be flooded with spam advertisements after attempting to get a $50 loan. Not only does this app charge as much as 19.9% interest for its Instacash loans, they expect you to pay a tip and even try to trick you into paying it by prompting multiple popups if you press no, and automatically applying a tip when switching the amount borrowed in the menu. Moneylion is an extremely predatory app and I will be filing a complaint with the CFPB.
The company itself is a scam. I couldn't do anything with them because they immediately wanted my personal information and bank information to do anything. After providing it they started charging for a membership that I didn't ask for nor signed up for, and it's taken months to get them to cancel it, because they believe in "commitment" and won't let you cancel even if you never wanted the membership. They don't offer refunds for services even though they do nothing and take your money.
cannot link direct deposit keep giving error for months now and every card i add cant have anything added because moneylion says they are ineligible because the billing address but the address is fine
this ap sucksi give it a thumbs down sticks u into a membership can't cancel anytime false lies don't download I'm in the process of sueing them right now my lawyer is make progress
I feel that the interest is absurd I use the application but I see that what is paid is too much to me they have 375 I have to make 4 deposits 3 out of 100 and I pay for each one 8.99 which is 26.97 plus an additional one of 75 that charge me 7.5 it is exaggerated to pay that weekly 35 dollars without envargo I have another application that does not matter the amount I only make a single deposit and they charge me 2.99 I like the application but those interests are very, very high
